Bergen County Prosecutor's Office
As directed by the Office of the Attorney General, prosecutors are the primary law enforcement officers in New Jersey's 21 counties. The prosecutors are constitutional officers charged with the broad obligation "to use all reasonable and lawful diligence for the detection, arrest, indictment and conviction of offenders against the laws."
